PACD and DEP will hold a free Manure Management Manual Workshop on January 23, 2018 at the:

This workshop is primarily for Conservation Districts, DEP, Penn State Extension and others who are involved in developing manure management plans or conducting plan writing workshops.  Anyone new to manure management plan writing as well as experienced staff who would like a refresher are encouraged to attend.

Participants will leave with a good understanding of how to use the Manure Management Manual to write plans, to explain to others how to use the manual, and how to conduct plan writing workshops for agricultural operators.  The ultimate goal is to be able to provide assistance and information to operators that helps them meet compliance with Manure Management Manual requirements.
