Crafternoon: Embroidery

This month our crafternoon focus will be: Chicken Scratch Embroidery. This vintage embroidery method was very popular in the 1930-1950s and was done on gingham cloth. Straight stitching, cross stitching, and a tiny bit of surface stitching produces something that resembles lace.
