Producing a World-Class Air Show

Our January Presentation: The logistics of producing air shows require a combination of art and science. Our speaker is the president of The Air Show Network, which organizes over 60 air shows per year. He will share details about how they produce one of the largest air shows in the country, the San Francisco Fleet Air Show. You'll get a  behind-the-scenes look at how they integrate the Blue Angels, other military and civilian acts, the FAA, Coast Guard, First Responders, FBI, and NCIS to provide a world class show for over 1 million people in the Bay Area.

Our Speaker: Jim Breen is the Founder and President of Umbrella Entertainment Group/The Air Show Network (ASN), which is considered the leader in full-service air show production, food service, and merchandise at air shows throughout North America. Since its inception in 1983, ASN has been involved in over 1,000 air shows, including such diverse markets as San Francisco, Edmonton, Nashville, Brunswick Maine, Andrews AFB, and Point Mugu. He holds a BS in Accounting from Manhattan College in New York City and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
