Crashing Cars for a Reason (and for fun!)

Our February Presentation:  Crash testing has become an important tool in the legal system. But, juries need to be taught to understand the complex scientific issues that go along with expert testimony regarding crashes. Our speaker evaluates vehicle accidents and analyzes, tests, and evaluates various vehicle safety systems. We'll hear how his company simulates crashes and collects data for use in expert testimony regarding automotive crashworthiness in product liability cases.

Our Speaker: Brian Herbst is a professional mechanical engineer who is the principal in the automotive engineering firm of SAFE Laboratories, LLC. He has written numerous publications and given numerous invited lectures.

This meeting is sponsored in part
