Galvanize to Serve: Recognizing Diversity in Volunteerism

Reaching out to include a diverse set of volunteers in your program means thinking differently — and creatively — about how you recruit. Just as in fundraising, appealing to diverse communities is important to a sustainable volunteer core. Hear first-hand from a dynamic group of volunteers that span age and ethnicity and represent varying backgrounds. They will share their experiences in their roles as volunteers and discuss the importance of diversity. You’ll walk away from this event with a shifted focus that puts the desires and values of your volunteers at the forefront instead of your own.

The panel discussion is designed for the novice, intermediate, and veteran fundraising professional, as well as volunteer management professionals.

We encourage you to bring your lunch. We’ll supply drinks and dessert.
