The Stark County HR Association is proud to present a special program for HR practitioners and business owners on Thursday, July 11, 2013:

"Everyone Violates the FLSA...How to Minimize Your Risk"

Hans Nilges, Partner at Morrow & Meyer, LLC & Stark County HR Association's Governmental Affairs Chair will presnt on legal issues surrounding the Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA").

The presentation will initially highlight the ubiquity of inadvertent violations of the FLSA from oversight or misunderstanding. Hans and his colleagues will discuss and provide examples of the legal, economic & business consdequences of such errors; best practices; and tools to discover & avoid errors.

The panel will walk us through the anatomy of an FLSA collective action lawsuit, which will include suggestions as to how liability may be mitiaged even after a lawsuit has been filed.

*HRCI Credits have been submitted for approval.

This special breakfast event is only $10 for all 2013 Stark County HR Association members, current Chamber of Commerce members (all Stark County Chambers) & current Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) members.
