Join other leaders in Disciples congregations for a lively 90 minutes of presentations, Q&A and networking around popular, practical topics. A light supper will be offered.
What makes this event unique is that it is designed around topics that church leaders request in a format that honors busy schedules. Presentations are offered by Kansas City area leaders who have found ways to get better results from their efforts.
Presentations:
- How to take a ministry from a 6 to a 9 (Cristie Sharpsteen)
- Becoming Better Mentors (Jason Sharpsteen)
- Visits with People Who Have Experienced Trauma: "What do I say when I visit them?" (Brian MOrse, Chaplain at Truman Lakewood, and Steve and Robin Smith, elders, Raytown Christian Church)
These events are open to all Disciples but we appreciate your registration since it helps to know how much food to prepare.
No fees are charged but donations to help offset costs can be made here
