2014 NLU Educator Job Fair 

On behalf of the National College of Education and the Career Development Office at National Louis University, we are excited to invite you to our 2014 Educator Job Fair. For more than 100 years, NLU has been at the forefront of teacher preparation graduating more Golden Apple winners than any other University in the state. If you know us well, we welcome you back - if you're new to the NLU family, we can't wait to meet you. See you in March! 

Event Schedule: 

Noon to 1:00 p.m. - Employer Check-in and Lunch 

1:00 p.m. - NLU Students/Alumni admitted to fair 

2:30 p.m. - Pre-registered, non-NLU candidates admitted to fair 

1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Job Fair Open Session           

4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Pre-scheduled interviews by invitation only* 

*During the Open Session, employers will identify those candidates they would like to invite to participate in the 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. post-fair, on-site interviewing session. Only those candidates who have a card with the employer's name and scheduled interview time will be admitted. Employers can schedule candidates in 15 minute increments. Further instructions of this process will be provided upon arrival day of. 

Pricing Information: 

Registration Fee of $125.00 includes: 

Early access to resumes of pre-registered NLU candidates, 1 Recruiter, 1 Table, 1 Recruiter chair, 2 candidate chairs - supplied for the interviewing session beginning at 4:30 p.m., electrical hookup, Wi-Fi, parking, and lunch for 1 attendee. 

Additional Items: 

Extra Attendee ($20.00): 

An extra charge of $20.00 will be added for each additional attendee you will be bringing to the job fair IN ADDITION to the 1 you are provided in the registration fee. All registered additional guests will be provided parking and lunch. Please note that if you plan on bringing more than 3 additional guests you will need to request an extra table. 

Additional Tables ($10.00): 

Please indicate the number of tables you wish to reserve IN ADDITION to the 1 table included in your registration fee above. 

Cancellation Policy: 

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Emily Drake at edrake2@nl.edu. Please do not cancel your registration online as it will cause problems to your refund. Once we receive your cancellation email, we will prompt the system to issue you a refund. 

To receive a full refund for a paid registration, cancellations must be submitted no later than Noon (Central Time) on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. 

Cancellations made by email between Noon (Central Time) on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 and Noon (Central Time) Monday, March 3, 2014 will be subject to a $35.00 fee to offset preparation costs. 

NO refunds will be issued for any cancellations made after 12:00 p.m. (Central Time) on Monday, March 3, 2014. 

Important Program Details: 

Realizing the challenges both candidates and employers face in finding the right talent and opportunity, this job fair will be organized to give both attending audiences the best experience and outcome possible. 

Employers, we need your assistance by using the Open Session to quickly screen candidates and select individuals to return for a more focused conversation during the dedicated interviewing session post-fair. By hosting a dedicated interviewing session our goal is to provide you with an efficient and effective means of leaving the fair with a strong candidate pool ready for your next steps. 

This also ensures that you will have the opportunity to draw from a larger selection of candidates and not hamper the flow of the fair by keeping the length of time candidates spend in line waiting to speak with you to a minimum. Our space is limited and unable to accommodate long lines without having a disruptive overflow.
