The WaterSaver newsletter will help you create stunning landscapes that use less water. Every month, local horticulture and irrigation experts will highlight landscape topics ranging from what to plant to when to fertilize to how to encourage native wildlife.

- Keep up with free landscaping and irrigation classes and what's happening in the local gardening community with "Upcoming Events."

Do It Yourself Drip Irrigation
Do It Yourself Drip Irrigation Clinic. Come learn about designing and installing a drip irrigation system that's efficient and low maintenance. It's easy if you know how. You'll gain hands-on practice with cutting pipe, inserting emitters, and connecting parts and pieces.
From backflow preventers to emitters this class will help you learn how to design and install an irrigation system as good as the pros. Taught by a certified irrigation specialist, any confusion you may have about components like pressure regulators, valves, emitters, zones, stations, etc., will become crystal clear.
Note: Access to City Hall after normal business hours is limited as doors are locked. Those arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be able to enter the building.
Parking is available in the parking garage at 240 S. Washington St., or in the open lot at the Courts/Police complex at 250 E. Chicago St.
