The WaterSaver newsletter will help you create stunning landscapes that use less water. Every month, local horticulture and irrigation experts will highlight landscape topics ranging from what to plant to when to fertilize to how to encourage native wildlife.
- Wondering why leaves change color in fall? Or, which insects are beneficial to your garden? "Ask a Garden Goddess" will address these and other gardening basics.
- The "Plant of the Month" will focus on easy-to-grow perennials that will survive our brutal summer heat and alkaline soils.
- Check out "Water Wise Tips" for sage advice on creating a lush landscape that also saves water.
- Keep up with free landscaping and irrigation classes and what's happening in the local gardening community with "Upcoming Events."
- And, of course, we'll continue to deliver monthly watering advice appropriate to our region in the Sonoran Desert.
Irrigation Maintenance & Repair
Your irrigation system is the lifeline for your landscape. Fall is a great time to tune it up to get the efficiency back and to modify it for new plantings. If your system is giving you trouble and you don’t know why, this class will also teach you how to troubleshoot and repair it like the pros. Whether you have sprinklers, bubblers, drip, or all three types of systems, this class has you covered.
Note: Access to City Hall after normal business hours is limited as doors are locked. Those arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be able to enter the building.
