ABWA Penn Square Chapter Meeting
Dr. Verlina Velazquez-Millings of The GateHouse for Women will be joining us for our October ABWA Penn Square Luncheon to discuss the services that are provided at The GateHouse, a community-based drug and alcohol treatment facility with several locations in Lancaster and the surrounding area.
Dr. Velazquez-Millings joined the GateHouse team as Program Director in October of 2017. Verlina has eighteen years of experience working in the human services field, and eleven years of experience in leadership.
The GateHouse is a non-profit organization that provides effective gender-specific behavioral health services to assist chemically addicted people to establish lives in recovery. The GateHouse provides family education, tools to maintain healthy boundaries, supportive ways to identify dependence issues and opportunities to rebuild both trust and mend relationships.
