UNMASKING CHILDRENS MENTAL HEALTH

According to the CDC, 1 in 5 children experiences a mental disorder in a given year. Georgia Parent Support Network (GPSN) continues to work hard to ensure that Georgia families have access to support, care, education and a voice in the process of change.

OUR WORK TO BUILD A STRONG COMMUNITY

GPSN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, and is dedicated to providing services, support, education and advocacy for children and youth with mental illness, emotional disturbances and behavioral differences.  Since 1989, GPSN has been a voice for children and adolescents who do not have a voice, advocating for mental health reforms. We provide advocacy,  help youth who are transitioning out of child and adolescent mental health services to become independent instead of homeless, and support the statewide Youth M.O.V.E. Georgia chapter that empowers young adults to become active participants in mental health advocacy and peer support. We also support our Therapeutic Foster Care program, Transitional Youth Peer Center, Street Outreach program, and Family Partner for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

The "Unmasking Children’s Mental Illness" Mardi Gras Benefit Ball is our premier fundraising event.  It is through strong partnerships that GPSN is able to provide training, life skills, mentoring, and peer support to Georgia families and young adults.  Please help us Unmask Children's Mental Illness and consider becoming an event sponsor or donor
