There are four classes of membership in GPPA:

1.  MEMBERS of the Association shall meet one of the following criteria:

• Good standing as Member, Fellow, or Life member of the American Psychological Association as certified to the Board by the Membership Committee.
• Possession of a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution, based in part upon a psychological dissertation from a program primarily psychological in content.
• Possession of a current or voluntarily retired license from the Pennsylvania Board of Psychology.

2.   ASSOCIATES shall be persons who possess a Master’s degree in psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

3.  AFFILIATES -  possess a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a field related to psychology as determined by the Board, in its discretion.

4.  STUDENT MEMBERS - graduate students in a recognized program of psychology.
