Cancelation Policy

We rely on accurate attendance counts to make important arrangements for our workshops. If you need to cancel a workshop for any reason, the following refund schedule applies:

-One week or more prior to start date:
5% cancellation fee applies.

-Less than one week prior to start date:
No refund is available. 

This includes those paying with a check. If you have registered for an event but cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. Please contact us for assistance.

Volunteer Management Certification

Volunteer Management Certification Program

This one-and-a-half-day workshop is designed to train Volunteer Managers on organizing, implementing, and maintaining and effective volunteer program for their organization. The curriculum is based on effective best practices used in the industry, illustrated with real-life examples. Participants will receive a resource guide, presentation slides, and a certificate of completion at the conclusion of training.

  • Volunteer motivation
  • Supervising volunteers
  • Orientating and Training volunteers
  • Delegating to Volunteers
  • Handling volunteer performance problems
  • Mutual performance reviews

Objectives:

  • To prepare Volunteer Managers to recruit, retain, and reward successful volunteers for their organizations.
  • To develop leadership skills that Volunteer Managers can implement when working with their teams.
