Women of Faith Peacebuilders Webinar 

Women’s inclusion has proven vital to durable peace, human security, and development worldwide, from national peace processes to community-level peacemaking.

As proven over the years through the progressive implementation of the UN Security Resolution 1325 – Women, Peace, and Security – women have and continue to remain at the forefront of dedicated peace efforts and impact.

This virtual roundtable is designed to provide an opportunity to learn about religious women actively engaged in mediation, negotiation, and community peacemaking on the frontlines.

You will hear from policymakers, scholars, experts, and practitioners from across the peacemaking field, spanning the world from Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Ethiopia, Uganda, Nigeria, Ukraine, Northern Ireland, the United States, and Colombia.

Each speaker will be asked to share their lived experiences as Women of Faith Peacemakers and lessons learned leading to peace innovation and impact.
