This year the Sustainability Book Club will be reading Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think by Peter Diamandis and Steven Kotler. This book explores why abundance and exceeding basic needs for everyone in the world is possible. Growing technologies will be discussed throughout the book describing how progress in the coming years will provide more gains than what has been accomplished in the past two hundred years. For each book club session there will be a different facilitator leading the group's discussion which will be announced later.

The first twenty participants that register for the discussion will be eligible to receive a free copy of the book club book sent to them through Amazon. If you wish to be eligible for a free copy, please enter your mailing address as requested. We will notify you within a couple days of your registration if you have a free copy coming to you. Registration deadline is Jan 20th.

This interactive book discussion will be meeting in person, as well as allow for individuals to participate virtually by using Zoom Connect. The book club meetings will be January 26th, February 9th and February 23rd from 3:30- 5:00 pm in the ITTC 134 on the UNI campus.  Individuals that prefer to participate electronically will be able to do so using Zoom Connect.
