Join the National Capital Environmental Non-profit Network (NCENN) for our next networking gathering:

Friday, January 27th, 2017
1:30-3:30 at the Sustainable Capacity Centre
969 Wellington St W, 2nd Floor

You are cordially invited to the Winter ENGO Roundtable session of the National Capital Environmental Non-profit Network. Come here what other groups are up to and bring any updates from your own group.
 Confirmed speakers include:
-  The Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS)
-  Reykia Fick, a Forest Campaigner from Greenpeace, with an update on what that organization is doingon forestry issues
- Iola Price, president of the Ontario Invasive Plant Council will give an update about some of the work being done locally on controlling Phragmites, Dog-strangling Vine, Buckthorn, and other invasive plants
- Katrina Siks from Hidden Harvest will update us on their current campaigns
- Stu Campana from the Envirocentre will give an update on some of the major programs happening there
There will be time for a general roundtable and short updates from all groups present. If you have a longer update you would like to share or require use of a powerpoint presentation, please email kathryn@sustainableasternontario.ca prior to January 20. As usual we will have refreshments, networking time, and a networking table for any materials.

The NCENN is open to all local environmental groups in the National Capital region.  We host regular networking gatherings for environmental non-profit staff, board members, and volunteers and hold occasional special capacity-building sessions.
