Environmental Brokerage Table: Working With

Post-Secondary Talent

Join the National Capital Environmental Non-profit Network (NCENN) for our next networking gathering:

Friday, November 25th, 2016
1:30-3:30 at the Sustainable Capacity Centre
969 Wellington St W, 2nd Floor

You are cordially invited to the Fall ENGO Roundtable session of the National Capital Environmental Non-profit Network, which is co-hosted by the Ottawa Eco Talent Network and introduces the Ottawa Environmental Brokerage Table.

The goal of the Ottawa brokerage initiative is to convene the Ottawa Environmental Brokerage Table—a table of community organizations along with environment sector faculty, staff, and researchers from local universities and colleges who are interested in developing a collective impact initiative for addressing environmental sustainability in Ottawa. Through the Ottawa brokerage initiative, engaged parties will pilot tools, lessons, and technology developed in Phase I, and will conduct research on how community brokers can better engage and collaborate with multiple post-secondary institutions and community organizations.

In the long term, when appropriate, the Ottawa Environmental Brokerage Table may expand beyond the environmental sector to include community-based organizations focusing on other issues.

Representatives from University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College and La Cite have been invited.
