NCENN Networking Gathering

Friday, September 23, 2016

OTF Green People Action Area

Join the National Capital Environmental Non-profit Network (NCENN) for our next networking gathering:

Friday, September 23rd, 2016
1:30-3:30 at the RA Centre
Room Courtside B

This NCENN Gathering will feature the Ontario Trillium Foundation Green People Action Area.  We will be joined by Thea Silver, OTF Strategy Lead for Green People from Toronto and Melissa Pomeroy, the newest addition to the Champlain OTF team (replacing Tracey Beauregard).  Find out more about the Green People Action Area and bring your questions and thoughts to help your organization better understand and prepare for OTF opportunities.
-----------------------
OTF’s investment in the Green People Action Area aims to bring us closer to our natural environment so that we can benefit from it and better understand its importance. Most importantly, this Action Area can catalyze the deliberate action required to change how we use our natural resources and to restore and conserve them for future generations.

Facilitated by Thea Silver – Strategy Lead, Green People, this session will focus on increasing the community’s knowledge of OTF’s Green People Action Area. Through an interactive discussion, we will give an overview of Green People and the related grant results, share learnings from the past few rounds, answer your questions, and have time for discussion.

 ---------------------------------------
Please bring your ideas, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration to this meeting for discussion.

Please note this event is being held at the RA Centre to accommodate a larger group from the environmental sector.

The NCENN is open to all local environmental groups in the National Capital region.  We host regular networking gatherings for environmental non-profit staff, board members, and volunteers and hold occasional special capacity-building sessions.
