NCENN Networking Gathering

Friday, April 22, 2016

Join the National Capital Environmental Non-profit Network (NCENN) for our next networking gathering:

Friday, April 22, 2016
1:30-3:30 at the West End Well

Theme: Social Enterprise with Jonathan Wade

Come learn about how social enterprise is being used to support the environmental movement.

In Ottawa and across the country, individuals and organizations committed to sustainability are looking to use the sale of goods and services to generate revenue for charitable work or to further their social and/or environmental mission(s).

Jonathan Wade, of Social Delta Social Enterprise Consulting, has worked with social entrepreneurs for almost a decade and will answer your questions on social enterprise trends, myths, opportunities and challenges. Bring your questions and your curiosity about how businesses--operated by individuals, coops, non profits or companies--can be structured to protect, enjoy, and honor the natural world in which we live.

 ---------------------------------------

Please bring your ideas, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration to this meeting for discussion - a brief round-table of updates will take place as well.

Please note this event is being held in the second floor meeting room at the West End Well.

The NCENN is open to all local environmental groups in the National Capital region.  We host regular networking gatherings for environmental non-profit staff, board members, and volunteers and hold occasional special capacity-building sessions.
