TAM & Safety Plan Workshop Hosted by OTA & OTTC 

Training Description

The FTA due date for Tier II transit provider Transit Asset Management Plans (TAMP), including those of tribal transit systems, is scheduled for October 2018. This workshop is being conducted so that each attending tribal and other Tier II provider in attendance will leave having developed a draft of their TAMP. In preparation for the workshop, each attendee will bring information on its assets (vehicles, equipment and facilities), other materials and their maintenance manager or other maintenance representative.

In addition to the TAMP, the workshop will include drafting an Agency Safety Plan (ASP) structured along FTA’s Safety Management System for bus and paratransit operations. Again, attendees will be asked to bring a list of materials for their safety plans. Attendance by each system’s individual responsible for safety is also desirable.

The list of materials and other information will be sent out to registered attendees by Mid-August.

Note that Safety Plans will be dealt with on Tuesday, August 28th.  TAM Plans will be on Wednesday and Thursday, August 29th & 30th.
