In this illustrated lecture, Dr. Samuel Gruber will highlight the origins and evolution of the movement to preserve historic synagogues, and discuss the most pressing challenges facing the preservation movement today. He’ll also focus on synagogue moves including the a synagogue in Texas and the past and future moves of our 1876 synagogue.
