Harry van Bommel, a long-time PWAC member, is the author of 41 books, most of which are self-published, in the fields of family caregiving, business, education and helping people record their life stories. He is the founder Canada 150 and Navcare.

Paul Lima is a freelance writer, business-writing trainer and media interview coach. He is also the author of 12 books on how to write a non-fiction book, business writing, copywriting, the business of freelance writing and related topics. Mark Leslie Lefebvre is a book nerd, who has worked as a bookseller in virtually every aspect of the industry. As a writer he has both self-published and traditionally published (with one foot planted firmly in each camp). He was one of the forces behind Kobo Writing Life, a DIY platform for writers.
