Panelists
Bizwrite’s Kara Kuryllowicz knows that every business has a story. She gets to the heart of that story by asking the right questions and uses simple, accessible language to share that message with the target audience. Kara has had plenty of practice “translating” the most complex corporate-speak and IT-speak into plain language that delivers results in web content, case studies, trade and consumer articles, newsletters, speeches, books, brochures, and a variety of internal and external documents, such as emails, guidelines and announcements.
Marjo Johne began her career as a journalist, working for the St. Catharines Standard, London Free Press and Canadian Press. As the Internet was emerging as a mainstream communication platform, Marjo ventured into copywriting. Her clients have included Air Canada, IKEA, Microsoft, AT&T, Mr. Sub, SlimFast, Zellers, Sears, federal and provincial governments, and all the big banks. Today, Marjo is a six-figure copywriting freelancer and she writes regularly for The Globe and Mail.
Anne Ptasznik is the head thinker, writer and communications strategist with Creative Fusion, a writing and communications company serving healthcare organizations and companies that take social responsibility seriously.
