Cheryl Moritz and Lesa Mazzacavallo, the Queens of Scones, invite you to join them in the Hackett House Kitchen to learn tips for making delicate scones just in time for holiday baking. While there are many scone recipes, there is also an art to making them mouth-watering. Whether sweet or savory, your family and friends will be unable to resist these tender bites...bites that can be served for breakfast, tea, as party appetizers or dessert. Not only will you learn from the best teachers, you will be taking home the scones you make to savor later...and perhaps share. Mmm good! Menu includes Cran-Orange scones with Orange Devonshire Cream; and Caramelized Onion, Bacon and Cheddar scones with Herb Butter. Once you taste both scones, decide which one you want to make and take home. And the best part is that our Queens of Scones will lead you through mixing and matching flavors to create your own specialty scones.
