The Rhode Island Land and Water Partnership, is coordinated by Narragansett Bay Estuary Program and RI Land Trust Council with contributions from RI Association of Conservation Commissions. Together these three partners represent over 40 land trusts, a dozen watershed groups and 24 conservation commissions. The Partnership fosters learning and collaboration among conservation leaders throughout the state and region. The partnership hosts regular workshops and other initiatives to support grassroots organizations. Our hallmark event is the annual Land & Water Conservation Summit held on a Saturday in March of each year. This day-long conference attracts over 300 of the state’s leading conservationists for learning and networking. With over 30 workshops offered, plus an inspirational keynote speaker and a wide array of exhibits to explore and learn from, the Summit offers attendees a varied and powerful learning experience. 

The Summit is a collaborative effort with many agencies and valued partners supporting and contributing to its success.  One key part of the partnership is the many corporate, businesses and agency sponsors who support the Summit by advertising in our program brochure or at one of the display tables. The Land & Water Conservation Summit provides you with an unsurpassed opportunity to showcase your products and/or services and to a prime audience who are both passionate about the protection of our state’s natural resources and long term conservation for future generations.
