PARTNERSHIP RENEWAL: To receive the tickets you are entitled to as part of the Or Ami community, you need to renew your partnership with the congregation, pay necessary financial commitments, and order your High Holy Day tickets no later than September 1, 2017.

ORDERING TICKETS: The number of Complimentary Tickets are determined by your partnership level. * In today's heightened security environment, no one will be admitted without a ticket, and we must collect names and contact information for all worshippers.

  • Congregant level: A two adult congregant household is entitled to 2 adult tickets, and tickets for your children, age 26 and under. An individual congregant household is entitled to 1 adult ticket, and tickets for your children, age 26 and under.
  • Partner level: A two adult congregant household is entitled to 2 adult tickets, and tickets for your children under age 26. An individual congregant household is entitled to 1 adult ticket, and tickets for your children, age 26 and under.
  • Sustainer level: Is entitled to 4 adult tickets, and tickets for your children, age 26 and under.
  • Builder level: Is entitled to 8 adult tickets, and tickets for your children, age 26 and under.

EXTENDED FAMILY TICKETS: Congregants may purchase additional extended family tickets. All tickets will be color coded and checked at the door.

FRIENDS' TICKETS: We ask that you encourage friends to purchase tickets with the non-congregant order form. Please do not purchase for non-congregant friends or aquaintances. Share only the additional tickets received as a Sustainer or Builder. Income from non-congregant ticket purchases significantly defrays the costs of renting the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Non-congregant friends or acquaintances may purchase tickets using this link

ENCOURAGE LOVED ONES TO JOIN: Last year, because of our new, affordable partnership affiliation rates, 20 former member households became congregants again, and 10 households converted their ticket costs toward partnership in Or Ami. The benefits are many. If your friends or family are already paying the costs of High Holiday tickets, for just a little bit more, they can become congregants. So please encourage them to "come home to Judaism; come home to Or Ami." We would love to welcome them. Contact Susie Stark to learn more. Our rabbis and cantor would be more than happy to speak with them also.

PICK UP TICKETS: For Yom Kippur, please pick up tickets at WILL CALL 30 minutes before services begin. There WILL be a line. Please be patient (so you don't have more things to ask for forgiveness for during the service.)

PRAYERBOOKS: Or Ami uses the machzor (prayerbook) Gates of Light. Unfortunately, we are unable to loan High Holy Day Machzor (prayer books). Please purchase copies of the prayerbook using this form.

VOLUNTEER: Can you devote a few hours to help create a meaningful experience for the whole community? Look at volunteer opportunities and sign up

Thank you for making High Holidays 5778 a meaningful and enriching experience for all.
