Night at the Museum - 4/18/18 

The YWCA & DuPage Children’s Museum have collaborated on another amazing event.   Night at the Museum 2018 promises to be an evening full of hands-on learning, resources, and fun!

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Get creatively noisy in DCM’s Studio playing in Instrument Mini-Makers
  • Take an in-depth (and playful) look at two of DuPage Children's Museum's award-winning exhibition spaces
  • Go on an exciting hands-on tour of DMC’s newest music exhibition - Art is Instrumental, complemented by a special presentation from Indian Prairie Public Library
  • Attend featured presentation by Erikson Institute

Evaluating Technology Tools for Early Childhood

Join the Technology in Early Childhood (TEC) Center at Erikson Institute for hands-on play with screen and non-based technology tools, including robotics and learn how to evaluate technology tools for early childhood settings. Participants will learn the latest AAP guidelines for screentime and how to connect the NAEYC/Fred Rogers Centers Joint Position Statement on Technology and Interactive Media to their work with young children. Come ready to play and explore!
