FREE Preschool Parent Child Playgroup 

This 7 week parent/child playgroup will have a weekly theme. This is a child centered playgroup and children are encouraged to help choose the theme for group.  Each group will have a circle/story time, free play opportunities, art/crafts and a snack.  Goals of the program will include providing children opportunities to experience success in a group setting and participate in activities that will strengthen their group play, social, literacy and learning skills. 

Parents need to participate in the group activities with their child.  Parents will also have access to resource information and support around children’s development and other parenting topics

This playgroup is for children ages 3 - 5 (not enrolled in Kindergarten).  Siblings over the age of 18 months are welcome to attend and join the fun.  Please be aware that the classroom we use is a preschool classroom.  There may be toys not suitable for young children.  Small objects for crafts will be used, however activities can be modified for young children and toddler toys will be available.  When registering please register all children that will be attending.

The dates of this group are:

October 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th, November 3rd & 17th, December 1st

There will not be group on November 10th and 24th due to holiday/school closing

 Space is limited so please register early!  You must be able to commit to attend the entire group. Illness and planned vacations are the exception.
