Student Host Volunteering at Conference 2019 

GAEYC is powered by volunteers, and the Annual Conference is no exception! Join other professionals in helping to run the conference.

We need volunteers for Friday and Saturday. We ask that volunteers sign up to work the first half of the day, the second half of the day, or all day.

Volunteering the First Half of the Day: 7:15 am to 12:00 pm

At 7:15 am, there will be orientation. Volunteers will check in conference attendees, direct attendees to their session rooms, check in presenters, assist with lunch set up, and assist presenters. Presenter assistants will help connect presenters to IT support, distribute and collect sign-in sheets and evaluations, and generally support presenters so they don't have to leave their room. 

Volunteering the Second Half of the Day: 11:15 am to 4:50 pm

At 11:15 am, there will be orientation. Volunteers will assist with lunch clean up and assist presenters. On Saturday, volunteers will also help with conference break down including taking down signs, packing up materials, and checking that rooms are left tidy.
