WSO 2023 Spring Convention

The WSO Community of Central Oregon is anxiously awaiting your arrival for the Spring Convention.  This will be one weekend you won’t want to miss!  Please read the Watermark and Registration materials carefully because there are significant changes to the traditional schedule, including the Exhibit and Reception on FRIDAY afternoon. 

 Juror Vera Dickerson will honor us with her expertise and valuable skills as a watercolor and mixed media artist.  Vera has taught art at the University level since 1969 and received the Masters Teaching Award at Virginia Western Community College.  She is a Signature Member of the National and American Watercolor Societies and exhibits extensively in galleries and museums throughout the country. Before registering, please check your Digital Watermark.  The article "Convention Central" (beginning on page 18) contains additional information for all events. Our Spring 2023 Breakout sessions include a broad variety of artistic ideas. Each  will enhance your paintings, expand your technique "tool chest" and facilitate your personal style.  You will also find a listing of some fabulous local activities occuring outside the convention events.  

Vera's Workshop "Integrating Pattern, Color, and Design" is currently full; however, you are encouraged to place your name on the Wait List if you are interested.  The workshop dates are: April 17 - 21, 2023.  

• Please note:  MEMBERS only may elect to "Participate" in a single critique.  
• Remember that there are multiple events during most time slots on Saturday; Please make sure that you do not register for conflicting events unless you are registering for events for your guest(s). 
• Please print your registration confirmation for your reference during the convention weekend.  ITINERARIES ARE NO LONGER PROVIDED AT THE CONVENTION.  
• Registration changes after confirmation are very difficult, with limited space available for several of the events, so please review your registration choices carefully prior to submitting for confirmation and payment.  
• A "wait list" will be maintained for all events. Those on the list will be contacted in order of registration date if space becomes available for that event.

Refund Policy:

(II.c.1.b) - Refunds are made only if a reservation is canceled within five (5) days after the close of online registration, or in the event of serious illness, accident, or death in the family.
(II.c.1.c) - Refunds, less a $5.00 processing fee, will be mailed after the convention.
