This year the MIC Intra-Faith Education Series explores Christianity. We started at the beginnings of Christianity with the first night exploring Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Reformed Christianity. The second night focused on the 5 mainline US Protestant denominations that originate in Europe: Lutheran, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Baptist and Methodist. The third night is Monday, April 15th, and will address the US Christian denominations that were founded in the US, primarily in the 1800’s. These traditions include Unitarian/Universalist, Mormon, Christian Science, Disciples of Christ. The fourth and final night will focus on US Christian denominations founded in the 1900’s. These traditions include Pentecostal, United Church of Christ, Religious Science and Unity.
