It is with this deep gratitude that we share with you an upcoming film premiere of the documentary BEACON, hosted at Brimmer and May School's Hastings Center on January 11, 2018.
This moving 35 minute film poignantly captures the universality of challenges around equity in education for students of color and for economically disadvantaged students. It provides a launchpad for conversation and dialogue about race and class in education -- and the resiliency of young people in the face of new environments.
