SOS Book Discussion - Hidden Figures

Join fellow Spirit of St. Louis Women's Fund members and friends for an engaging discussion on "Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Who Helped Win the Space Race," by Margot Lee Shetterly, a book popularized by last year's film.

The book, which has won countless awards and made number one on the New York Times bestseller list, tells the remarkable story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the years of the U.S. space program.

The location of the book discussion will be in the "book club" room of the St. Louis Central Library. The room is located near the Olive entrance to the library near the cafe.

Attendees can buy their food from the Cafe (Urban Eats Central) and bring it in to the discussion room.

If you haven't been to this branch of the libary before, you're in for a treat! It has been recently renovated and is one of our city's most spectacular buildings!

Parking is available on the street or in nearby parking garages.
