Health is fundamental to human well-being, but it is not equally distributed across our community. Life expectancy in Wildwood is 91.4 years; in Kinloch it’s 55.9 years. This kind of disparity takes its toll on our entire region, morally and economically.
For The Sake of All is a multi-disciplinary project on the health and well-being of African Americans in St. Louis conducted by scholars from Washington University and Saint Louis University under Principal Investigator Jason Purnell.
