Summer Sacred Art at Montview 

 

The Sacred Summer Art Program is a week devoted to the visual arts in a sacred context. We emphasize group cohesiveness, individual creativity and thoroughly enjoy our time together.

The children participate in many art activities using various subjects, media and materials. These projects are inspired by many sources including stories from sacred texts, sacred spaces, and exploration of world traditions.  

This popular world religions program will continue this summer! 

• Ages: Entering 1st grade - entering 4th grade - Fall, 2017

• Max class size: 20. We are unable to exceed this maximum. Sessions are identical.

• Fee: $80/child.

• Sessions will be held on Monday through Thursday from 9 am – 2 pm in Room 204.

• Sessions will have lunch and time outside, weather permitting.

• Children will need to bring a sack lunch each day. A snack will be provided. 

• Each session will include visual art, music and story components.

Session 1: June 12-15

Session 2: June 19- 22

Session 3: June 26-29

Session 4: July 10-13

Session 5: July 17-20

Session 6: July 24-27
