Rapid Response: THC and Teeth

The course will be an unbiased and evidence-based presentation of marijuana and its role in dentistry, with a review of the usage of marijuana in the general public population, a discussion of the pharmacology of marijuana, and how the use of marijuana by your patients affects their dental care.

• Understand the pharmacology and pharmacokinetics of marijuana
• Understand how marijuana usage by patients effects their oral health; specific focus on oral pathology, caries risk, and periodontal disease
