Intro to JavaScript | Free Intro to Coding Class!

Class will be held Thursday, September 21st, 2017
from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Learn the fundamentals of programming as you get introduced to JavaScript, one of the most popular languages in the job market. This workshop is designed for beginners who want a tour of programming basics. Your instructor for the evening is Victor Moreno - a seasoned web developer who is also the Director of Programs at TechLaunch FVI.  

Join this workshop to see how it works and what companies are doing with it. We'll cover everything you need to know to start learning the language - including data types, variables, and functions. Once the workshop is over, we'll share a roadmap to continue learning JavaScript on your own. 

What will you need?

Be sure to bring a laptop. If you don't have one, we'll pair you with someone who does. 

About TechLaunch

TechLaunch @ FVI’s Web Development track is a 9-month program designed to transform students in South Florida into full stack web developers. The program is offered during the evening so you can continue to work while you learn. It consists of 20 hours of classroom instruction each week, plus 5 hours per week outside of class. 

 Little to no prior HTML experience is required.
