Mariangelli (Angie) Fernandez has served in the capacity of Community Outreach Representative for the Office of the State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle for the past seven years. Prior to joining the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office she worked as a subcontractor for five of Florida’s State Attorney’s overseeing and managing each region’s Bad Check Diversion Program.
Ms. Fernandez has a background in Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service and Human Resources. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University and a Paralegal Certificate from Jones College. She attended the FBI’s Citizen Academy, Criminal Justice Information System-Security & Awareness Training; the Identity Theft Victim Assistance Summit hosted by the National Organization for Victim Assistance and recently took part in the “Investment Fraud Prevention” webinar hosted by National Crime Prevention Council & FINRA Investor Education Foundation, she was part of the planning group for the Elder Financial Abuse Symposium of the Older Adults Financial Protection Consortium of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, a brainchild of the Alliance for Aging, Inc. She continues to educate and inform the community on the various programs and services provided by the State Attorney’s Office.

Armando Escarra is an Economist graduated from the University of Carabobo in Valencia, Venezuela. Mr. Escarra got a Master in Marketing from UNITEC. His last work experience in Venezuela was as a Post-Sales Manager in a Toyota Dealership for 5 years. During that time he was in charge of managing the area of services, parts and body shop. He is a certified Leader Kaizen trainned by Toyota of Venezuela.
Blanca Mendez graduated in Miami at the University of Miami (UM). She obtained a degree in
Broadcast Journalism and Spanish Literature. Her last work experience in her hometown, Valencia,
was as a Publishing Coordinator in Notitarde, a local newspaper with the third largest circulation
of the country. During 7 years she was in charge of drafting and proofreading texts for different
publications. She also had direct participation with the Graphic Editor in the assembly of the
products.
Together, as a married couple, Armando and Blanca represent the first File Depot unit to be
opened in South Florida, specifically en Miami with the intention to cover a market that is
unattended by large corporations that manage files. The costs to start storing in their warehouse
are $50 per 100 boxes. Their goal is to provide a solution that is simply the smartest, in terms of
prices and time efficiency. Other services they provide include: shredding and digitization.
