Join Maryanne as she shares a funny story about a stagette gone wrong and getting caught in the act of some seriously pathetic complaining. 

Four years later, Maryanne has a not-so-funny argument with her husband, John, about her habit of procrastinating on her writing. She complained to him, yet again, about not having enough time or money to write. The next day John died in the line of duty. They were both 32. From a financial perspective, Maryanne was handed her dream of becoming a writer on the same platter as her soul mate's life.

In an instant, the time for complaining and making excuses was over. On Sept 29th, 2000, Maryanne received one heck of a wake-up call about the importance of working towards achieving your dreams - and began the long, slow, heartbreakingly difficult work of accepting John's easily preventable death and learning how to transform "I can't" into "I can...and I will."
