Presentation Information

Eli Mackiewicz, City of Bellingham WA Public Works Department  |  The Stormwater Outreach for Regional Municipalities (StORM) group in Washington State has developed a step-by-step guidebook to help municipalities, agencies, and non-profits launch and operate a Green Stormwater infrastructure (GSI) Assistance program. These GSI programs offer technical or financial assistance to help private property owners participate in the solutions to water quality issues in sensitive or otherwise impaired watersheds. Eli from the City of Bellingham Washington and Alison Schweitzer, from King County Washington will provide details about the development of the Guidebook, what it contains, how it’s intended to be used, and – most importantly – the key findings and recommendations from the Subcommittee.
