April 5-7 2019: Basic Rider Course - Missouri Safety Center 

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s (MSF) Basic Rider Course  (BRC) is aimed at beginning or re-entry riders. A minimum of five hours’ classroom instruction prepares the student for at least ten hours of practical  riding in a controlled, off street environment. Motorcycles are included in your fee.  All motorcycles used in the course are 500 cc or less.

Tuition for the BRC at the Warrensburg training site is $200, full payment is required at time of registration. Seats will not be held without payment. Class size is limited to 11 participants with two MMSP/MSF Rider Coaches.  All participants are required to provide and wear the following proper protective clothing during all practice riding lessons: full-fingered gloves, long sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants (without rips or holes) and sturdy over the ankle footwear. A DOT certified 3/4 or full coverage helmet with eye protection is also required.  A helmet may be loaned to participants who do not have them.

Courses are held at the Missouri Safety Center, 1200 South Holden, Warrensburg, MO 64093.

All course dates adhere to the same *general class times, which are:

Weekend classes:
Friday night 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Saturday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekday classes:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (on scheduled course days)

*NOTE: These times are a guide and can vary due to unforeseen circumstances.

First day of class: Bring all required riding gear to class  and be prepared to ride. Class always starts  on time, rain or  shine.

Tuition for the Warrensburg BRC training site is $200, full payment is required at time of registration.  Refunds (minus a $15.00 cancellation fee per person) will only be issued if cancellation notice is given at least 7 business days prior to the beginning class date.
