ASCE EWRI / UNH Event

ASCE-EWRI and the UNH ASCE student chapter proudly present the Order of the Engineer and Kate Emma Schlosser's presentation on the Broad Street Parkway. This meeting will be a great opportunity to earn PDHs, network with colleagues, and celebrate engineering.

Join us for hors d’oeuvres and network with professors, professionals, and UNH students.  Show your support for the UNH students as they partake in the Order of the Engineer Ceremony.  You haven’t taken part in the ceremony before?  Professionals are invited to partake too!  Contact Justin Keefe at jak1@wildcats.unh.edu for more information.  Enjoy a dinner and guest presentation following the ceremony!

As our guest, Kate Emma Schlosser will share her work with The Broad Street Parkway, which will be a 1.8 mile-long stretch of roadway connecting the F.E. Everett Turnpike and Downtown Nashua. Kate Emma is a Senior Project Manager at Sanborn, Head & Associates, and led the effort needed for the management and relocation of several Asbestos Disposal Sites encountered during the construction of the Broad Street Parkway.

1 PDH will be offered for this event.

About the Order of the Engineer
The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United State to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer. The Order fosters a unity of purpose and the honoring of one's pledge lifelong. The Engineer's Ring is a stainless steel ring, worn on the fifth finger of the working hand by engineers who have accepted the Obligation of an Engineer in a Ring Ceremony.
