2019 Human Trafficking Conference - SC4 

The St. Clair County Community College Nursing Department and the Michigan Abolitionist Project (MAP) present the 2nd annual Conference on Human Trafficking.

Featuring Keynote Speaker: Danielle Bastien , RN, DNP, FNP-BC

Danielle is an emergency room nurse at Henry Ford Hospital. She recently completed the DNP program at Wayne State University where her doctoral thesis was on human trafficking. Danielle developed a policy for the Henry Ford Health System which implemented changes to the triage and emergency department process to assist in better identifying patients who are victims of trafficking. Nurses and healthcare providers will benefit from Bastien’s research, experience and compassion.
