For Freedom 2018
On November 2nd, Michigan Abolitionist Project will gather together individuals, businesses, and faith-based communities for its 4th annual fundraiser, For Freedom, with a mission to raise $65,000 in support of this needed work.
Join us for a plated dinner, live music, and a silent/live auction.
Our night will feature a special speaker, Joyce Dixson Haskett, LMSW ACSW. Joyce, a human trafficking survivor, spent 17 years in prison for saving her own life by killing her trafficker. She will share her story and why MAP’s work is vital for people, like her, to obtain freedom.
Music will be provided by Lost Voices, folk and blue musicians who help vulnerable kids find hope and healing through music.
Empowered together, we can achieve our vision of a slave-less society.
