2019 Delmarva Poultry University-Industry Partnership Summit

The Delmarva Poultry University-Industry Partnership Committee cordially invites you to a day-long session of engaged discussion on current poultry industry issues, information exchange, lightning presentations and lots of networking with industry, university, federal and state partners, and stakeholders.

The Delmarva Poultry Summit will be held on March 13, 2019 at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, 500 Glen Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21804.

The goal of the summit is to build on the momentum from our 2017 summit held at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, that resulted in the formation of the Delmarva University-Industry Partnership Committee, and more importantly, to support our collaboration to advance the growth and sustainability of the poultry industry in our region.

Invited speakers from the industry will focus on what keeps the poultry industry in Delmarva profitable and sustainable, and will engage the attendees in discussions of critical issues pertaining to policies and regulations that affect the industry.

Faculty and students will showcase their work in the poster session, and a select few will give lightning presentations during the general sessions. These will be brief, no longer than 3-minute updates on the research programs, teaching, and extension activities at the universities serving the poultry community in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, followed by Q&A.

Thanks to our Sponsors, there is no cost to attend, but you must register online by March 1, 2019.  Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be served to all participants.

We hope that you can join us for this important Summit!
