Southern MD Agricultural Conservation Leasing Workshop
Conservation practices are not commonly used on leased land for a variety of reasons. The Agricultural Conservation Leasing Workshop is a train-the-trainer project which will equip agricultural service providers with the communication and leasing tools they need to help landowners and farmers install conservation practices on leased farmland. Landowners and farmers are also welcome to attend!
Attendees will be asked to participate in brief surveys at the time of registration and following the workshop to assess whether the workshop information and materials helped leasing parties install conservation practices.
