Beginning Brioche

Join Nasim Bahador here at Northwest Yarns to learn Beginning Brioche! You will learn how to brioche knit in the round and make a hat in this 3-part class. Techniques will include two color Italian/tubular cast on, basic brioche in the round, brioche left leaning decrease, and how to put in life lines.

Students will receive a 10% on all materials purchased for the class.

Skills needed: No prior brioche knitting experience is necessary, but students should already know how to knit, purl, yarn over, and slip a stitch.

Materials needed:

Size 4 16” circular knitting needles (we recommend wood or bamboo as it is less slippery)
2 skeins of DK or light worsted weight yarn in contrasting colors (we recommend Davila, Ultra Wool DK, or similar in a light color)
5 Stitch markers
