Christmas Stocking 

Learn how to knit up your own, custom Christmas stocking! This class will teach you how to knit an easily modifiable two-color stocking with a cute afterthought heel. Students will also learn how to duplicate stitch, an easy colorwork technique you can use to decorate your completed stocking with charted pictures and words. All class supplies will be offered at 10% off for students.

Supplies needed:

• 2 skeins of Ella Rae Superwash Classic Wool (or other worsted weight yarn) in two colors for the stocking
• Additional colors of Ella Rae Superwash Classic Wool (or other worsted weight yarn) for any colorwork designs, according to your preference
• US 5, 16” circular needles
• Size US 5 double pointed needles or 40” circular needles if you plan on using Magic Loop to knit the decreasing stitch in the toe in heel 
• Yarn needle

Prerequisites:  Student should know how to cast on, knit, purl, and knit in the round.
