Intarsia - June 2019 

Learn all the techniques used in Intarsia knitting. This class will teach you how to knit areas of color such as pictures, shapes or polka dots into your projects. You will learn how to keep your tension even as you work each color change and how to avoid gaps in the fabric. You will also learn how to evaluate and design intarsia patterns along with the use of color charts using multiple yarns, carrying yarns and carrying and interlocking new yarn colors. Bring your own swatch pattern, or one will be provided.  Classes will include two two hour sessions with practice time in class and homework between classes. Additional information will be provided upon class registration.

Materials required: 3 balls of worsted weight yarn in different colors, and a pair of size 8 needles.
